The Airman Certificate Testing Service (ACTS) is a vendor that supports the FAA in
development, assessment, maintenance, and delivery of airman knowledge test. The vendor
also enhances academicd items, knowledge test, and supplementary material with automated
state-of-the-art technology and expertise. You will need to get a FAA tracking number (FTN)
using the IACRA website.

Before taking the test, the candidate should have FAA form 8610-2 completed and/or rating approval
to take it to your local FAA FSDO (Flight Standard District Office. With FAA approval the applicant
must first take a written test before taking the oral and practical test. When you go to the FSDO you
must take Faa form 8610-2, a “Bill of Rights Form that you can get at the FSDO, along with your log
book. This is your first step in getting your rigger’s certificate.
